Kate Adams is an actress based in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating from Northwestern University with a major in Linguistics and a minor in Film, she moved to NYC to pursue her true love, acting. She has an eclectic training background, including classical Shakespearen work, mime and clown, improv at Upright Citizens Brigade as well as method acting with renowned teacher Tony Greco. She was recently in Peacock’s limited series, A Friend of the Family (starring Anna Paquin and Jake Lacy) where she played Anna Paquin’s sister. She has had the privilege of working with a lot of up-and-coming directors, such as Kristoffer Borgli (Former Cult Member Hears Music for the First Time which premiered at Sundance ‘19), Alexandra Pechman (Thumb, Sleep), Kailee McGee (The Idea of a You).
Kate has also worked with Mike Mills (I am Easy to Find + 3 commercials). This past year, Kate co-directed, co-wrote, co-starred in a short Carmen and Moony about a semi-recovered kleptomaniac who returns home for the holidays. She starred alongside Peter Friedman (Succession).
She currently resides on the east side of Los Angeles.
